From the Subversive Site Subversive SVN Team Provider Sources (Incubation) I selected Subversive SVN Team Provider and the Subversive SVN JDT Ignore Extensions packages and installed them. This DID NOT install a group called Subversive SVN Connectors as implied in the above mentioned instructions but I went back to the internet site for which I am trying to reach their repository and found an alternate set of instructions. We were aware that many people were waiting for a 1.0 before using Subversion, and had very specific expectations about the meaning of that label. The client and server are designed to work as long as they aren't more than one major release version apart. Our client/server interoperability policy is documented in the "Compatibility" section of the Subversion Community Guide.
Subversion has been in development since 2000, and became self-hosting after one year.
A year later when we declared "alpha", Subversion was already being used by dozens of private developers and shops for real work.
Enter URL of https://sourceforge.net/svnroot/jwebmail/trunk and no other details (unless you're a team developer). or it could be a bad Internet connection to Sourceforge.
Hi Stphane, If you get 403 you probably have access right problems. Maybe the user that Apache runs as, can't access that directory ? -----Original Message----- From: Stphane Mangeot [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 PM To: [email protected]: Can't access the repository by file:, svn:, ...
The problem is I’d like a Trac and Subversion setup for my personal stuff. We’ll create a directory called dev in our home directory and build Subversion there.
I’ve got a few hosts that I use for various projects, but none are mine alone, so it would be wrong to host my personal stuff one one of them. You’ll need to do the same so you get the current, stable version of Subversion (1.6.9 when I did this).Apache, Apache Subversion, and the Apache feather logo are trademarks of The Apache Software Foundation.Subversion and the Apache Subversion logo are registered trademarks of The Apache Software Foundation. Several companies (Collab Net, WANdisco, Visual SVN, elego, ...) pay or have payed the salaries of some full-time developers, but the software carries an Apache License which is fully compliant with the Debian Free Software Guidelines. Thus, I would like to set up Trac and Subversion on 1and1. I do not have sudo rights there and can’t configure Apache, for instance. So next I attempted to set up an actual connection to an SVN repository.
